On October 16, the 23rd Informatization Forum of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) was successfully held in Chengdu under the theme “Data Empowerment, Smart Future – Digital and Intelligent Transformation in Civil Aviation.”
The event brought together experts and representatives from CAAC, airlines, airports, research institutes, and technology companies to discuss the latest trends and pathways in civil aviation’s digital transformation.
As a technology solution provider with over 20 years of deep engagement in aviation informatization, VariFlight was invited to participate.

At the forum, VariFlight showcased the latest achievements of its Total Airport Management (TAM) solution, which attracted significant attention from guests and partners.
Our representatives were also interviewed by the “CAAC Smart Insights” program, sharing in-depth views on TAM’s concept, implementation, and real-world value while engaging in business exchanges with industry peers.
Over the years, VariFlight has continuously advanced the pilot deployment of TAM across major hub airports, actively contributing to the development of CAAC technical standards and helping to establish a unified, scalable operational collaboration framework for the industry.
On the international stage, VariFlight presented the Solution for Total Airport Management at the ICAO 42nd Assembly and Innovation Fair, earning high recognition from global peers. Notably, ICAO formally adopted “Digital Transformation” as an agenda topic, emphasizing:
“Accelerating data-driven and AI-enabled modernization of airports and air traffic management systems.”
This vision aligns closely with VariFlight’s TAM philosophy of data-driven, intelligent transformation, underscoring our forward-looking leadership in smart aviation development.
Currently, VariFlight is also undertaking the Civil Aviation Trusted Data Space project, building a secure, unified, and shareable industry-level data infrastructure to unlock the full potential of data elements and accelerate value creation in the civil aviation ecosystem.
